Built in 1902, our charming three storey Victorian town house has been lovingly converted into a welcoming bed and breakfast. Situated on the west side of the York, our guest house is only a 10 minute walk from the railway station, the racecourse, York City Centre and all amenities. From the moment guests arrive, comfort and hospitality are offered throughout our family run establishment. Prices from: £25 per person per night
Romley House offers a range of rooms, including two family rooms, (1 x double/1 x single/1 x fold-down bed) and (1x double/1 x bunk beds for children). There are also single, double and twin rooms available and all rooms are equipped with TV, hospitality tray, wash hand basin and razor point. Some of the rooms are ensuite and some have private showers. There is double glazing and full central heating throughout.

We offer a choice of Full English or Vegetarian Breakfast. Bruce's breakfast is also celebrated for its option of American or Alaskan waffles. Comfortable lounge with complimentary tea and coffee. Guest are free to come back any time during the day. Tourist information is also available in our lounge.
On street parking facilities available (Permits at no charge).
No smoking throughout. All children are welcome with no age restrictions. Sorry, we do not accept pets or stag/hen parties.

York has many historical attractions, including the Minster which is one of the finest churches in Northern Europe, the York City Walls, the River Ouse with scenic boat trips and museums for all the family including the National Railway and Castle Museums. There is also the world famous Jorvik Viking Centre. All these attractions are in easy reach of our quaint bed and breakfast.
