Scarborough's Norman era castle is about 10 minutes walk, the popular Sealife Centre is about 5 minutes by car or on Scarborough's miniature railway, walk along the North Bay Esplanade or explore the famous harbour at South Bay where you will find entertainment, shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, amusement arcades, donkey rides and many more attractions. From here organise boat and fishing trips. Brontes Guest House is also a great base for getting to know Yorkshire with the North Yorkshire Moors.
