We had a very enjoyable stay ,room very clean,breakfast excellent.Landlady Sandra made us feel very welcome on arrival,with nothing to much trouble during our stay.All in all a very friendly warm atmosphere .would recommend a stay here

the room we had was clean and comfortable but was very small and had no view. This should of been explained to us when we booked in advance that we would not have a view as we would not of stayed there

The room was slightly smaller than we were expecting and although the hosts were most welcoming and pleasant during our stay unfortunately there was a smell of tobacco smoke. The stay was not spoilt by this.

Location

Everywhere was lovely apart from the main area in Windermere, where you could catch the boats. This, we found, was over-ridden with tourists and it was like visiting Western Super Mare! We avoided this area.

The room was great. Everything had been thought of to make it a comfortable stay. Little things like hooks for towells,disinfectant in the bathroom and tissues in the room made it the best we have stayed in. And hosts Colin and Sandra were friendly and helpful and have an obviuos passion for their townj and district.

Location

although we were only in the district for a short time we were able to appreciate the beauty of the place. The lake was stunning and the villages of windermere and Boweness were gorgeous with very friendly, genuine people. it is a place I would like to revisit and spend more time.

The location is so good that one cannot find a better place even after going there in person.

Nice comfortable room, breakfast good,friendly atmosphere, just what you would expect from a guest house.

Location

the bay house guest house is right in the middle of bowness which makes it ideal for visiting most of the attractions.

room was clean and tidy. ensuite shower room is small. good value for money

Location

close to shops, bars, restaurants and the lake.
