facilities were fine for the weekend break and the hosts were very helpful and supportive. Would stay here again.

The facilities were close to where our daughter lives in York that made easy access into the City Centre.

Excellent bed, shower and breakfasts. Pleasant proprietors.

Plenty of accessible places to visit - we managed eleven plus a day in Whitby. Good local bus service too.

The accomodation was of fairly good value for the inexpensive fees. The owners were particularly welcoming and very kind to my family. The location is far enough away from the city to provide a peaceful setting, yet there are places of interest within the village for the short-stay country lover, not wishing to spend all their time in York.

Location

We paticulary enjoyed a visit to nearby Castle Howard! The whole area of York is very interesting, having both historical value and good commercial servies. It's not too far from my home town, but the B&B took the edge off the journey making the visit more relaxing, particulary for the young children.

Location

York is easily accessible. The local Toby Carvery is excellent both for the quality of food and for the price.

the hotel is a very friendly place to stay,very welcoming.the room very well kept.

Location

its great that u can leave the car at the hotel and catch a bus from accross the road,it takes 10 minutes to york. as we found out its much cheaper to do that than to drive and park. and its also not far to the seaside Scarborough.
