Clean hotel throughout, owners outstanding in helpfulness and friendliness. Chose a back room for quietness which worked well. Only one chair as room small. Hotel has personal charm of seaside not like a big international hotel. Breakfast was perfect and included in tarrif. Definitely recommended for service and value for money.
Location
Plenty to do for a week. Local buses provide excellent access to all the island attractions. The bus depot at Liberation Square is a 15-20 minute walk through town. Great restaurant about 50 metres from the hotel.

Our stay was made memorable by the help we received from the manageress, Amanda. She arranged and recommended tours of the Island and, on other occasions, booked the taxis we required. The rooms contained four-poster beds (not expected considering the price of the rooms) and were kept clean. The breakfasts were exceptional, allowing for a combination of cereal, tea/coffee, toast and a selection of hot options (including full English or Continental). The location was excellent, with the sea front just a one minute walk from the hotel (at night, you could hear the sea lapping on the beach). It took no more than a ten minute walk to get to the centre of St. Helier.
Location
A particular pleasure was the organisation of the Island tours. These were easily booked with the manageress (Amanda) and we were collected/returned, by the tour operator, from/to outside the hotel itself. The arrangement of the public bus transport system was simplicity itself - by the second day of our stay we were travelling all over Jersey, using nothing but the buses. These were regular and had a two-tier fixed-rate fare (£1.20/£1.60), you could travel to virtually any attraction on the Island using the buses alone. There's also the opportunity to buy short-stay season tickets. A full bus timetable was available, free, from Liberation Bus Station.

The Alhambra is a lovely hotel. The service is excellent, the food delicious, the rooms charming, the staff polite and helpful, and the owners exceptionally accommodating and intelligent.
Location
The location is perfect, a short walk from the center of town, but off in a quiet area, near the sea, with a couple of outdoor tables and a bright conservatory.

Hospitality good.
Food same daily, very good waiting staff.
Rooms serviced to a good standard daily.
Value for money for Jersey.
Location
Being my first visit and the wifes first visit to the island for over 30 years we visited several attractions from the war tunnels to the shell garden took 3 tours with good informative drivers and also used the local buses to visit places on foot.
good value Battle of Flowers mesuem
poor value shell garden but still a good visit.
St.Helier found difficult but not impossible to find evening entertainment, Or good pubs serving real ale and knowing how to serve it!
