We had everything we needed - lovely breakfasts, warm room, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and quiet area on the north side of the island.
Location
Our first visit to Jersey was well worth it, even in November. Some tourist venues and restaurants in quiet areas were closed or open for reduced hours in November, but we particularly enjoyed walks on the north coastal path (accessible from the Guest house,) visiting the nearby Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and enjoying the lovely cafe there for lunch, and the Eric Young Orchid Foundation.

Great spot and good food. A bit remote for people using the bus system, but amazing location. Breakfast 9 - 9:30, late for hikers who want to get started.
Location
Fabulous location for hiking and scenery. A long difficult walk up the hill and very narrow roads making walking to nearby communities tricky. Served by 3 buses a day, the first at 9:50 a.m. meaning a late start. Black Dog Bar was the only restaurant in the area in October.

We were quite satisfied with he accommodation. Our room was clean and well maintained. The beds comfortable and the breakfast ample, well presented and in a delightful setting.
Richard(the owner) was always pleasant, attentive and willing to answer any questions we had during our visit.
If one had to make a suggestion concerning the improvement of facilities, it would be the poor state of the car park, which, in dry weather probably presents no problem. However during a rainy spell the car park becomes very tacky underfoot and leads to soiling the interior of most cars using the facility

This is my fourth visit to Jersey and my wife's second. My first in 1960 when anongst viewing the "Battle of the flowers" whilst based in St. Helier, I was able to visit most of the popular resorts on the island, such as Corbiere, St. Brelades, the German underground hospital, Greve de lecq and others. In 1972 my wife joined me and we revisited these sites and in addition the Durrel zoo. on our recent visit we returned to these locations and I am personally saddened to see how much cartain of these locations have changed, most noticeably Greve de lecq, which is blighted by the huge retail .This is an eyesore and has completely changed what was a delightful location. Fortumately we chose to stay at Bouley Bay ( an area not previously visited) and this area I imagine, like Bonne nuit has not been subjected to to intrusive developement?
I hope you will find these observations of interest?B

we had a lovely room with view of the cliffs and sea - very clean and comfortable. Only small point for vain people like me is that there was no socket near a mirror for blow drying your hair, the only socket was by the bed. The breakfasts were varied and big choice. Ida was exceptionally pleasant and had a lovely disposition, nothing was too much trouble. Would go again.

Our first visit to Jersey and we thought it a beautiful island - we enjoyed visiting Durrell's wildlife park and loved the gorillas most. Very informative and pleasant staff there. Thought the food quite pricy but good, although found a lot of dishes were served with salad and not vegetables and I also missed having Jersey potatoes - where are they? I kept asking "are these Jersey potatoes and was answered with a "Yes" but the skins didn't look as if they would come off easily and didn't taste right - should I have asked for "jersey royals!". I was very disappointed about this.

The room was clean and furnished to a very high standard, both the bedroom and the bathroom had good heating. The hospitality was very good and the hosts very helpful. The breakfast was as much or as little as you wanted and all freshly prepared and served with a smile.
Location
There is free parking almost everywhere except in the big towns, we visted the Durrell Wildlife Park and it was very interesting and took most of the day, the cafe's are good with plenty of seating and the food in them was good. My partner is vegetarian and there were only meat sandwiches left so a cheese one was specially made. We also had a meal at El Chico's and that was lovely, overlooking the beach and great food. The service was a bit slow but it was very busy and the atmosphere and food made up for it as there was plenty to look at while waiting.

We were made to feel very welcome. A mix up over booking was soon sorted out thanks to the goodwill of our hosts. The room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was spectacular with more than any one person could eat. We also booked in for an evening meal which was delicious. Highly recommended.
Location
The Undercliff is right on the bay which is charming. Also close to the Durrell Wildlife centre which is well worth a visit. There are some good cliff walks right from the accommodation. Also a good bus service will take you all round the island.
