The proprietor made us very welcome, the room was clean and very comfortable. The proprietor Julie also made us breakfast earlier than normal on our last day so we could have it before we left to return home.

Location

We visited various places of interest, the Lyndhurst provides an extensive range of information on the local attractions.

The meals were excellent and the service top rate. For elderly people all the stairs were difficult to negotiate.

Location

This was a family visit as I had spent the WW2 years there and as such did not visit any of the German "attractions". The Island itself was,as always, a beautiful spot.

Room was very nice clean and comfortable. Breakfast excellant. Owners very nice.

We hired a car and went all over the island so found some really lovely places.

Excellent. bathroom shower was a bit lacking in ditection and spray...but nanaged it with a bit of tweeking

enjoyed the beaches/food/and people very friendly. Went to Gilbert & Sullivan concert put on in local church in St Aubyn..nice evening...supper...old fashioned hospitality that is nice to see is still happening.

A Friendly atmosphere. Breakfast area and food very good. Size of rooms also very good my only fault is the shower cublicles felt they realy needed a good up date tho the rest of the facillities were good. Would also like to mention if evening meals were provided I am sure I would have had my meals on the property. It seems this could be a lost opportunity.

I found everything to my satisfaction except I would have appreciated a later breakfast as the last few days of my stay was business and I needed to be out earlier than I was able to. Having said that I would still return to The Lyndhurst if the occasion arose again. Lovely people, lovely location.

Location

Good location and the highlight of my stay was the visit to Gorey castle. Unfortunately we didn't allow enough time to see it all. I would have loved to have taken a packed lunch and explored it fully.
