Bedroom was good and bed very comfortable, bathroom could do with updating. Excellent breakfast and hostess was very pleasant and helpful when directing us to various attractions on the Lake District.
Location
Visited Ullswater, Grasmere and Hawkhead during our stay but our favourite was Hawkshead.

Room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast was very substantial. Would have preferred privacy glass in bathroom window rather than drawing the curtain. Hosts were friendly and professional.
Location
Crompton House was 10-15 minutes walking distance of Windermere & Bowness so we left our car at the B&B. Lake cruises were quite reasonably priced. Beatrix Potter museum worth a visit. Wide range of food outlets in Bowness from as low as 3.95 for a carvery.

Hosts were very welcoming and facilities were very good.
Location
Always a pleasure to visit the lakes, as there is always many attractions to visit. Some lovely walks to do as well.

Our room was lovely. The breakfasts were superb and the proprieters were very friendly.

Brilliant area for walking. Good choice of bars and resturants.

all acccommodation factors were satisfactory standard.
Location
small town and all amenities are convenient. lots to see and very reasonable prices. Beatrix Potter country, William Wordsworth's house. wonder countryside and pleasant ferry trips.

Location
aira force, grassmere, lake steamer to lakeside,excellent carvery at lakeview in bowness.
