We were welcomed by the owner. The room was small but very comfortable and well equiped. The lounge for guests was a very welcoming room. Breakfast in the attractive dining room was excellent. Will recommend to others.

Location

The Lake District is a natural environment with a multitude of interesting visiting sites

Robert was very hospitable and the rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed the breakfast in the dinning room with other guests.

Location

The location being next to Beatrix Potter's home was the major reason for booking here. It was very convenient to be able to tour her home and have our B&B so close.

Standard of room was very good, value of money good, hospitality outstanding, food exellent.

Location

Mountain cycling was very inetresting in this part of the UK. Lakes are beautiful. The pubs with local food were exellent.

A very short walk from Hill Top Farm. Close to Hawkshead and Coniston.

Pretty house next door to the house where Beatrix Potter was born. A ferw hundred yards from the lake and relativley easy access to Lake Windemere and all the main roads out. The room was clean and tidy with all the facilities required. Breakfast was very good and the staff seemed pleasant and helpful.

Location

We were close to Windemere and spent most of our time there. All the lakes and surrounding scenery we drove to and past were stunning ( and this was while it was chucking it down with rain !! ).

VERY HIGH STANDARD and the breakfasts outstanding ---------------however maybe they could serve it from 8-30 to 9-30 instead of 8-30 to 9 which is quite early when you are on holiday .

Location

The lakes are outstanding and the walks beautiful.
