My only criticism is that the bed was rather uncomfortable and the pillows were a bit hard for my liking but that is a personal thing!
Location
Location was just 10 minutes walk form the city centre and maybe 20 minutes walking from the station.
Plenty to see and do in York and a wonderful location for my college reunion.

Hospitality was outstanding and breakfast was really good, lots of options. In general really good value for money and walking distance from city centre.
Location
York Castle Museum is excellent, also the National Railway Museum. The city is very relaxing with lots of tea rooms. The Minster is amazingly beautiful and there is always something to do.
Richard III museum is not the best.

Location
York has many attractions, historic and modern. Excellent museums, walks and shopping.

Owners very pleasant, value for money, food good and good choise, room was clean and somewhere for us to rest after a busy day.

The hospitality was excellent as was the choice of breakfast food. The room was adequate, clean and comfortable. There was a small en-suite bathroom which was adequate.
Location
The accommodation was a fifteen minute walk into the city. The York Pullman City Tour bus was boon as you could hop on and off at leisure and could be used over a two day period. The York Castle Museum was excellent and well worth the visit.The Railway Museum was first class and the York Wheel was an added bonus.
The City of York is an excellent place to visit and enjoy the historic attractions.
