Laurel Cottage is a traditional guest house personally run by the owners. Peacefully situated on the edge of Windermere Village, we are just a short stroll to the shops, restaurants cafes and bars. We have five rooms all en-suite, spacious and well appointed, all with free wireless internet, TV/DVD or video, radio and cd, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities.

We serve a hearty full English breakfast or a vegetarian option. Lighter breakfasts are also available and we use local produce when ever possible an always free range eggs.

We are not far from the famous Lake Windermere and the local area offers some spectacular views of the lake and the surrounding fells. You can take a cruise on one of the many boat trips available from various points on the lake. Within a few moments walk of our guest house is the peaceful Sherriff's walk, which is ideal for a stroll alongside some beautiful waterfalls and streams.
