Situated in the heart of the English Lake District, our traditional Lakeland Stone guest house enjoys a fabulous lakeside location in the historic village of Bowness-on-Windermere. The village nestles picturesquely on the shores of Lake Windermere and we are only a minute's walk from its many varied shops, bars and restaurants. Prices from: £37.50 per person/night
We have 5 double rooms and one family/ triple room. All rooms are en suite and tastefully decorated in keeping with the age and character of the property, which was built in 1860. Four of rooms also have scenic views of the Lake, which is a stone's throw away. Each room is equipped with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Hairdryers and ironing facilities are available.

We offer a full English breakfast to set you up for the day using a fresh, local produce. Special diets and vegetarians can be catered for. Packed lunches are also available.
Parking available locally: free between 6pm & 9am. Children welcome. Open all year, apart from 24th to 27th December inclusive. We accept guests for New Year. Dogs are welcome.

Bowness-on-Windermere provides an ideal base for touring the breathtaking scenery of the beautiful Lake District, with Ambleside, Coniston, Hawkshead, Grasmere and Keswick all within easy travelling distance.
