Situated in a quiet location in Windermere, our guest house is within easy walking distance of the train and bus stations, the Lake and all local amenities. Built in the 19th Century, this traditional Lakeland slate house provides an ideal base for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District. Prices from: £28 per person/night
We have five bedrooms catering for double, family, twin and single parties. Each of our rooms is fully en-suite, comfortably furnished and has a hospitality tray and TV. We have a two-bedroom family suite, which can be let as a twin, double or for a family of 3 or 4. There is an en-suite bedroom with double bed and an adjoining room with full-size bunk beds to suit either children or adults.

Our dining room has a 1960s theme where we have a menu offering fruit juices, fruit segments, fresh fruit and cereals, followed by a choice of traditional, vegetarian or continental breakfast. Guests can watch the sun go down on our garden.

Located about 10-15 minutes' walk from Windermere Railway Station which is reached by changing trains at Oxenholme Lake District station on the West Coast Main Line between London and Glasgow.
Those driving from the south should exit the M6 at Jct 36 and follow A591 to Windermere. From the north,
exit the M6 at Jct 37, follow A684 to Kendal
and then follow the signs for Windermere via A5284, then onto A591.
