Located in the outskirts of the quiet pleasant village of Brighstone and under 20 minutes drive from the town of Newport, our thatched stone cottage nestles at the foot of the West Wight Downs that form part of the back bone of the Isle of Wight. At Moortown Cottage the B&B accommodation (known as Little Moortown) is a separate stone cottage next to the main house. Prices from £27.50 per person/night (2 persons sharing)

Little Moortown comprises one double bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet. The accommodation also includes a private sitting room with TV, fridge microwave and tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk and squash provided. All of the B&B accommodation is on the ground floor with its own front door so is easily accessible. The annex is centrally heated.

The village of Brighstone lies to the west of the Isle of Wight and is close to both the sea and the Downs, with country lanes all around. The cottage is thatched stone, about 300 years old and has a history as a smuggler's store from the days when ship wrecking was the main source of income.
