Situated in the village of Wingham, 7 miles from the cathedral city of Canterbury, our bed and breakfast is within a 400 year old, grade 2 listed, thatched former public house. Newly renovated, all the furnishings are new and to a high standard. Whilst both Canterbury and Sandwich are just fifteen minutes drive away, Wingham itself retains evidence of its medieval past and is well appointed with a number of public houses, restaurants and shops all within walking distance of the Old Ship. We have 2 guest rooms: a twin room with shower and a king size room with bath and shower. Both of our rooms have TV, DVD, tea and coffee making facilities, wireless internet and hairdryer. While both rooms retain the features of the original building they have been refurbished to a high standard, proving all the comforts one would expect away from home.

When it comes to breakfast, we have experience of catering for a wide range of tastes. We offer cereals or fresh local fruit while our speciality is a wonderful full cooked English breakfast made with local produce from the nearby Kent farms, all served with fresh fruit juice, tea or coffee. Should you have any special dietary requirements please just ask us and we will endeavour to cater for you.
