We look after our guests in every way, especially in catering and comfort. The guest house is pleasantly situated in Bournemouth's East Cliff, overlooking Knyveton Gardens, which has bowling greens, tennis, a cafe and a sensory garden. The Blue Flag miles of sandy beaches are only a short and pleasant pine tree lined walk passing by Langtry Manor, the former home of Edward VII and his mistress Lillie Langtry. All our double/ twin and family bedrooms have w.c. and shower en suite and our single rooms have their own private bathroom. All rooms are tastefully furnished to a high standard with pine furniture and have TV, tea making facilities with fresh milk, fridge (silent running), radio alarm, shaver point, trouser press, desk reading light, hairdryer, luggage rack and desk fan for your comfort in summer and full central heating.

Breakfast is included and we serve a full English breakfast, a continental breakfast or smoked fish. We also offer a four course evening meal, along with bed and breakfast, from £32 per person per night.

Forecourt parking. We do not cater for hen or stag bookings. Mayfield is non smoking throughout. Special long term accommodation rates are available for business persons.

Mayfield Guest House is conveniently situated for the railway/ coach station/ travel interchange, which is approximately a 10 minute walk. Bus stops, beaches and shops are also only a short pleasant walk. The Bournemouth International Centre (B.I.C.) is about a 20 minute walk and Bournemouth International Airport is a distance of 5.5 miles (9 km).
