Eagle House is a stylish Bed and Breakfast in a very pretty conservation village 3 miles from the city. A fine listed Georgian building designed by John Wood the Elder, the house and one and a half acres of garden are set on the edge of an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are 6 bedrooms, including some large family rooms, all with their own private facilities. Each room overlooks garden or countryside and is equipped with TV, direct-dial telephone, tea/coffee making facilities and hair-dryers. You can relax in the sitting room by reading a book or just taking in the view. For the more energetic, you can have a game of tennis or walk in the gardens and watch the balloons pass over.

We have an imposing Drawing Room for our guests with a 16 ft ceiling and log fires in winter. We also have a cottage set in its own walled garden adjacent to Eagle House with 2 bedrooms (each with a private bathroom and equipped to the same specifications as the main house), a sitting room and a kitchen.
We do not serve dinner, but there are plenty of options available locally or in the city. We now have broadband access to the internet from all guest bedrooms in the main house and a small wireless free area in one of the public rooms.

The House is at the centre of the lovely stone village of Bathford on the very southern fringes of the Cotswolds. It is in a Conservation area and in olden days was known as the "Walled Village of Somerset".
